Today's Workout

I went for a walk with a few spurts of running in the morning
about 30 minutes

Then I went to the gym in the evening and tried my luck on the treadmill.
30 minutes (about 1/2 walking, 1/2 running)
about 1.8 miles
Some stretching, sit-ups, free weights, and weight machines... nothing intense

I think I finally found a good pace for me on the treadmill. Its a bit slower than I'd like to be, but I haven't even started my real training regimen yet. Something to note: when I first started running, my shins felt really tight. I tried stretching them out, but it didn't really seem to go away. Anyone got any advice on this?

Maybe I'll feel motivated enough to ride my bike to work again tomorrow.
