Saturday Workout

Well, even though the weather yesterday was pretty icky, we still went into the cold pool (it hadn't been heated for us... brrr) and out on the misty/rainy bike course... It felt good to be in the water except that it was just a bit colder than i would've liked. The bike portion was fairly easy as we just went out on Foothill for a ways... we probably did about a 15 mile ride with rolling hills. We did our swim marker set, but because of the rain we will be doing our bike marker set next time. I was soo pooped after that workout that my bike is still sitting in the back seat of my car :) I'll get it out tomorrow. Anyway, here's the info for my swim marker set.

Track Workout

Last night we had our second track workout. It had been raining all day and fortunately there was only a mist on us while we ran. We did our first time trial for the season. I did alright, but I really need to work on my leg strength if I want to improve my run time from last year's attempt at Wildflower. Anyway, it felt good to get out there and run, but I still have a hard time motivating myself to run on my own. I need to work on that.

i've been working out... really!

ok... so, since my last post i've worked out with the team twice... we had our first track workout on thursday and we ran about 2 miles while getting to know our teammates better... saturday was our first swim/bike workout... unfortunately, the pool wasn't heated so we didn't actually swim, but we did get a good, easy bike ride in... it felt good to get out there... this week we are doing our first time trials... it'll be interesting to see how i do in comparison to this time last year... anyway, that's all i've got for now
